Dr. Gleysteen has been creating beautiful smiles in the Twin Cities since 1975. For over twenty years he has been a member of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team at Minneapolis Children's Hospital. He is a member and past president of the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists and is also a member of the Minneapolis District Dental Society, Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists and American Cleft Palate Association.
Dr. Gleysteen was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1968. He then attended the University of Iowa Dental School and received his DDS in 1972. His two year post-graduate Orthodontics program was finished at the University of Southern California in 1974.
Dr. Gleysteen enjoys golfing, tennis, downhill skiing, fishing, hunting, windsurfing and traveling in his spare time. He and his wife Cindy, a retired Special Ed teacher, live in Tonka Bay, and their daughter Jennifer and her husband Kevin live in the Boston, MA area. |
