Dr. Gleysteen has been creating beautiful smiles in
the Twin Cities since 1975. He has been listed in the Mpls/St. Paul Magazine and Minnesota Monthly Magazine under "Best Dentists" for the numerous years they have been publishing it.
For over twenty five years he has been a member of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team at Minneapolis Children's Hospital and he is a member of the American Cleft Palate Association. He is also a member and past president of the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists, a member of the Minneapolis District Dental Society, Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and World Federation of Orthodontists.
Dr. Gleysteen was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Southern Methodist University and earned a Bachelor of Science in 1968. He then attended the University of Iowa Dental School and received his DDS in 1972. His two year post-graduate Orthodontics program was finished at the University of Southern California in 1974.
Dr. Gleysteen enjoys golfing, tennis, downhill skiing, fishing, hunting, windsurfing and traveling in his spare time. He and his wife Cindy, a retired Special Ed teacher, live in Tonka Bay, and their daughter Jennifer, her husband Kevin and three grandchildren live in the Boston, MA area. |
